September 26, 2013: EMMY NOMINATION
‘Everglades of the North’ is nominated for a Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Achievement for Documentary Programs – Historical. Winners will be announced November 3, 2013.
February 26, 2013: SCREENING AT FIELD MUSEUM
‘Everglades of the North’ will be screened on Tuesday, February 26 at 6 p.m. at the Field Museum, 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago.
Doug Stotz of the Field Museum will moderate a discussion by a panel of experts on the Kankakee Region, including:
John Rogner, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
Jim Sweeney, Friends of the Kankakee
Marianne Hahn, Friends of the Kankakee
Jeff Manes, Producer/Writer
The event is free and open to the public. Please enter the Field Museum at the West door. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
